I liked how light it felt when I first picked it up, and it’s definitely easy to carry around. But once I started imagining using it on an actual hike, it just felt a little too flimsy for me. It’s nice for casual use, but I don’t think I’d rely on it for anything more rugged.

Overall , my order was pretty much correct . The only issue was that one item ended up being wrong .

I really like the clean style, it feels simple but still put together. It fits my vibe and is easy to wear with different outfits, which makes it a practical pick for everyday use.

I don’t think I’m being picky here, but the color I received looked nothing like the photo on the site. I get that screens can show shades a little differently, but this was not even close to what I expected

The gear itself looks good, but shopping on the site wasn’t the easiest. Some pages felt slow, and I had to keep clicking back just to find simple info. Checkout went fine in the end, but overall it wasn’t the smoothest experience :/

The fit was true to size for me, so I didn’t have any sizing issues. if anything had been off, I would’ve expected an apology, but the size itself was right.

I took a jacket and day pack from kilimanjarogear.com on a rainy two-day hike, they both did exactly what good outdoor gear should do. The jacket kept me dry without turning me into a sweaty mess, and the pack stayed comfortable even though I definitely overpacked again.
What I appreciated most is that nothing felt gimmicky or overhyped, it just held up when I needed it to, which feels like the fair standard for gear people trust outdoors. The zippers felt sturdy, my shoulders didn’t get rubbed raw, and the mud wiped off easily afterward. I’d feel good buying from them again.

I tried to exchange my order and it turned into such a headache. I reached out, waited around, and basically got ignored until I had to follow up again. When they finally responded, it was just one of those canned “sorry for the inconvenience” messages that doesn’t actually fix anything. Now I’m stuck paying shipping all over again, which is really frustrating.

I was trying to figure out sizing, materials, and what actually comes in the package, and it shouldn’t be that much of a guessing game. For hiking gear, I want clear info before buying, not descriptions that feel thin or a little misleading.

I wore this out a few times and it kept me warm for the most part. My brother even commented that it looked cozy, but when the wind really picked up, the insulation felt a little thin. It’s decent, just not as warm as I was hoping.

I bought this for a hiking trip, and I’m not totally sure if I was just expecting too much, but it really didn’t pack down well for me. It took up a lot more room in my bag than I thought it would, and I couldn’t get it to fold neatly no matter how I tried. I ended up repacking my bag twice because of it, which was frustrating for something that’s supposed to be travel-friendly

I ordered some gear and, to be fair, everything showed up in good condition, nothing was broken, dented, scratched, missing, or weirdly packaged. But the shipping was definitely slower than I was hoping for. The tracking also barely updated for a few days, so I kept checking it like, in the morning, at lunch, after work, before bed, and it still looked the same, which got annoying.
Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, just kind of average. If you’re not in a hurry, like if you’re ordering backup stuff, extra parts, things for later, or something you don’t need right away, it’s probably fine. But if you’re waiting on it for a trip, a project, a gift, or anything time-sensitive, I’d probably plan for extra time because I definitely wish it had been quicker...

Based on that, I’d be comfortable ordering from them again if I need more gear.

So... I wore this jacket through a whole weekend of windy rain, and it actually held up really well. I stayed dry the whole time and didn’t notice any weird leaking around the seams. happy with it.

I took this backpack out on a wet hike, and it actually held up really well. The zippers didn’t stick at all, which I was kind of worried about, so that was a nice surprise. I feel like it handled the rain and the rough use better than I expected. Happy with it overall — seems like a solid pick, right?
